IUPAC specification for the FAIR management of spectroscopic data in chemistry (IUPAC FAIRSpec) – guiding principles

Abstract A set of guiding principles for the development a standard FAIR management spectroscopic data are outlined and discussed. The form basis future recommendations IUPAC Project 2019-031-1-024 specifying detailed model metadata schema describing contents an “IUPAC FAIRData Collection” organization digital objects within that collection. Foremost among will be specification Finding Aid” describes collection in such way as to optimize findability , accessibility interoperability reusability its contents. Results analysis provided by American Chemical Society Publications pilot study discussed relation potential workflows might used implementing FAIRSpec” based on these principles.
